Tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world have visited The Quayle Vice Presidential Learning Center. The only vice-presidential museum in the country, it houses a permanent exhibit on the vice-presidency and rotating exhibits of social, political and historical interest. You'll find all kinds of novel Quayle memorabilia in the gift shop.

 
Go wild at Huntington’s newest attraction The Sheets Wildlife Museum, showing a unique collection of nearly 200 species of wild animals and fish from around the world.

Forks of the Wabash Historic Park tells the story of the local Miami and their relationship with early white settlers and the U.S. Government.

The grounds include a restored Chiefs' home from the 1830's, log buildings and a visitor's center and museum. Take a tour of the park and learn about the history of the area. Guides and demonstrators in period costume will guide you through the restored buildings and give you a better understanding of life on the Indiana Frontier.

The summer brings on the theatre season at the Pulse Opera House in Warren. Built in 1884 by Capt. Silas Pulse, the opera house has now been restored and is home to productions in the turn-of-the-century style. This charming venue has become a regional favorite for young and old alike.

At the Roanoke Area Heritage Center you'll find displays on local history and the Wabash & Erie Canal. Roanoke was the site of a Canal lock, and much of the Center's exhibition space is devoted to the history of the Canal and its impact on Huntington County.

Sunken Gardens - West Park Drive. Constructed on the remnants of an old stone quarry between 1923 and 1928, Sunken Gardens features various plantings, fishponds, and stone structures and are often the site of weddings and social gatherings. Visit at Christmastime and see a wonderland of lighted displays and thousands of lights.
