The Indiana Room Genealogy Center
Located inside the Huntington County City-Township Public Library, is the depository for Huntington County history. Visitors travel here from all over the country to trace their family lines. Many patrons stay for two or three weeks at a time.
The Indiana Room is a non-circulating reference and resource collection of historic materials pertaining to the history of Huntington County. In addition to complete microfilm files of county newspapers, it has files on local businesses and industries, school yearbooks and Huntington city and county directories dating from 1892 to the present. Books have been collected from states east of Indiana to the Atlantic coast to aide research.
