The Huntington
Bicycle Challenge is a two-day event sanctioned by the United States
Cycling Federation and sponsored by Three Rivers Velo Sport.
The course
has both on- and off-road portions. Riders must use the same
bike for the entire course, but may switch tires if desired. In
case of rain, the race will be on-road only.
The course is
140 miles, 70 mi each day. The race begins and ends at the corner
of Jefferson & Market streets (401 N. Jefferson) in downtown Huntington.
Orange Dan Henries
mark the route for Day One; yellow DHs mark the route for Day Two.
Registration
opens at 8:00 am at 401 N. Jefferson St. Mandatory riders' meeting
is at 8:45 am. Adventure Race begins at 9:00 am. USCF rules apply.
