The Huntington Bicycle Challenge is a two-day race event, covering 140 miles on a combination on- and off-road course. The course travels 70 miles each day. The map shows the specific route for each day. Printed maps are available at the visitor bureau.

The course starts and stops at the corner of Jefferson and Market streets (401 N. Jefferson) in downtown Huntington. The route is marked with "Dan Henries." Orange DHs will be used for Day One. Yellow DHs will be used for Day Two.

The course for Day One (red) runs through the southern portion of the county and includes Huntington, Andrews, Salamonie Reservoir, Mt. Etna, Warren, Markle and J. Edward Roush Lake. There are four Stop-and-Go stations along the route with water and light snacks.

The course for Day Two (yellow) runs through the northern portion of the county and includes Huntington, J. Edward Roush Lake, Markle, Roanoke and Bippus. There are four SAG stations along the route.

The Scenic Tour route is 130 miles on an all on-road course based on the race course. Variations from the race route are marked in green. The tour route is approximately 65 miles each day, bypassing off-road trails at the reservoirs. Four SAG stations along the route will provide water and light snacks.

The Business Team Challenge will use short, on-road courses measuring 9 miles (gray) or 26 miles (green).
