Escape to Salamonie!

Salamonie Lake and Salamonie River State Forest comprise over twelve thousand acres. Both tourists and residents may enjoy camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking and picnicking. There are even bridle trails for horses, cross-country ski trails, and snowmobile trails on the state property. The Salamonie Interpretive Center offers interpretive activities and workshops all season so check their schedule when planning your visit.

Visit Pirates Cove while at Salamonie for pontoons, gas, convenience store, paddle boats, fishing boats, bait, party boat rentals. Book your reservations for the tour boat and experience a 1 1/2 hour ride on the reservoir - learn the history of Monument City and more.
